About the speaker
Silvia is presenting herself under many hats and roles:
"I am the Head of OrgMapper Academy at Maven7, a leading network science company that provides organizational network analysis solutions for various clients worldwide. I have over 12 years of experience as a global analyst, consultant, and trainer in this field, applying network science and social analysis to solve complex problems in organizational development, change management, and people analytics.
I am also a lecturer at West University of Timisoara and the founder and director of FabLab - Social Fabrics Research Lab, a research, development and innovation lab that explores the applications and implications of network science in different social contexts. I have a PhD in Political Science and Network Science from Central European University, where I specialized in comparative politics, quantitative research, and network science.
I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and skills with students, researchers, and practitioners who are interested in learning how to map and optimize (inter)organizational communication and collaboration networks for performance, people-centric cultures, and innovation."

Silvia Fierascu, PhD, is a passionate professor, a global trainer, an interdisciplinary researcher, and an RDI consultant in Applied Network Science in Social and Communication Sciences, Organizational Development and Change Management. Her work always reflects entirely who she is as a professional – a purpose-driven educator and changemaker. Her diverse experience working in all sectors - business, government, academia, and civil society – feeds into her vision of a global movement towards more data-driven, evidence-informed decision making, human-centric work cultures, sustainable ecosystems of wellbeing, value creation, and innovation.
