Managing Success by Eliminating Chaos

How we spend our time is a choice.
When you know where to start and you know what to work on next, that is when you begin to feel empowered. That is when you begin to feel that you are in control of your day.
Productivity is not about doing more. Productivity is about doing what matters most.
We have to get used to the idea that not everything is a priority.
We often confuse urgent with what’s important. We think they’re the same … Quite frankly, urgent only means that it’s tied to time.
We need to toss the to-do list, which I know is frightening. It seems scary. What do I do? We make a priority list. Priority list takes exactly the same amount of time to write as a to-do list, but here’s the trick: you think while you put it down, so it tells you where to start. You start at the top of your priority list, and you work your way down.
Cut so you can grow.
We have to stop the glorification of busy. Today’s society pushes us, encourages us, to be busy. As a matter of fact, if we are not busy, we feel like we are failing.
When you leave space for you to grow and explore, that is when you become more creative. That is when you’re able to really innovate and explore the person that you want to be.
We get so frustrated when people invade our sacred spaces—when they overstep their boundaries. But if we don’t tell them what our boundaries are, how do they know?
