Care when nobody else is. Nobody is going to show up for these people unless you do.

Toussaint Morrison talks about his time on the road as a musician and his time advocating and showing up for people after George Floyd’s murder.

About the speaker

Toussaint Morrison is an American writer, musician and filmmaker. After traveling the country in a makeshift tour bus with a band for almost 10 years, Toussaint began to reform his approach to creating and distributing art. Later on, a landmark in his work occurred when he began speaking at rallies and press conferences to address the cop murder of George Floyd. Although his music and filmmaking remained, he began to incorporate disruptive media to a status quo he’d already been shaking up.
