About the speaker

Tracy Flook is known by all as Latifa. Latifa joined the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre of Cultural Understanding in 2006 as a Cultural Speaker in the Jumeirah Mosque visit. She is also the Jumeirah Mosque Majlis Supervisor. She has been committed to 'Open doors, Open minds' philosophy, sharing it with the guests of the mosque.

In 1992, Latifa moved to Dubai from England when she married her Emirati husband and became a mother to three Emirati children. She is a true bridge between the UAE's international guests and the local community, especially as she is also fluent in Arabic.

Full of knowledge and having a friendly, welcoming personality, Latifa uses her humor to engage with guests, captivating them with her tales and stories.
