About the speaker
Energetic, empowered, bold, crazy, and insightful are a few terms that can define Huma. With more than 10 years of advertising experience under her belt, and the Highest Ranking Creative in Pakistan (Campaign Brief Asia); Huma, was selected by Cannes Lions for their See It Be It program which is a highlight competitive program, selecting only 16 female creatives from around the world. Huma represented Pakistani women on a global scale taking all the experience and coming back to Pakistan to hold workshops and talks, talking about her experience and how other Pakistani Women could apply. Huma uses her skillset & abilities to create a social impact in Pakistan. Almost half a decade of Huma's career was spent with BBDO Pakistan, where she has won more than 200 International Advertising Awards for her work, including Cannes Lions, Clios, D&AD, London International Awards, Spikes Asia, Ad Stars, Dubai Lynx, Loeries, MENA Cristals and Tambuli Awards. She is now ranked top 150 creatives in Asia - Campaign Brief Asia 2019. Her most notable work has been #BeatMe for UNWomen Pakistan, which has been featured in the Gunn Top 100 Campaigns of 2017, and Truck Art Childfinder which produced on-ground results of locating 7 missing children thus achieving campaign effectiveness.
