Members of the Healthy Transportation Coalition believe there are many needed improvements in the National Capital Region before we will have a truly healthy transportation network.

Better infrastructure for pedestrians, cyclists, and public transit riders. Communities that are home to vulnerable populations should have better access to healthy transportation options.

To speak to the concept of ‘healthy streets' we're welcoming Trevor Haché to the CreativeMornings Ottawa virtual stage. Trevor is a dad to two beautiful kids, co-founder of Ecology Ottawa, Healthy Transportation Coalition, Ottawa Transit Riders, board member at Social Planning Council of Ottawa, and is the Ottawa & District Labour Council's 2019 Community Activist Award winner. This recognition is given annually to individuals or organizations “who repeatedly demonstrate a commitment to those in our community in need and whose work ensures that those people are provided opportunities or resources to help that need."
