Tynna Mendoza at CreativeMornings in Hong Kong

CM Hong Kong got together at Garage Society

About the speaker

Tynna is the Director of Programmes at Enrich, an NGO that educates and empowers migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong through financial education and personal development. Born and raised in the Philippines, she developed a lifelong passion for the arts and music very early on. Influenced by her parents, she also immersed in volunteering with communities for the youth, urban poor and women.

Prior to coming to Hong Kong, Tynna worked with the Human Rights Commission of the Philippines which helped shape her interest in women’s rights and was the platform that helped her embark on a development career. Keen on complementing experience with deeper knowledge, Tynna secured a master’s degree in Women and Development Studies from the University of the Philippines in Diliman. Having worked in organisations at grassroots and national levels, her most meaningful role is mother and role model to a young daughter and partner to a spouse who shares, among many things, a daily and sustaining commitment to service, family and music.
