What are Clubs?
CreativeMorning Clubs are community-led, hyper-local, intimate gatherings around something you love.
Clubs can be recurring or drop-in and can range from hobbies and hang-outs, to skill-building and anything in between.

About this Club
An hour of concentrated writing time, surrounded by new friends, every other Monday before work.
The format is:
10 minutes: meet, greet, share what you are writing about
60 minutes: quiet writing time with strangers
10 minutes: share and reflect
In the past, attendees have worked on novels, grant applications, poetry, blog posts, reports, slide decks, and everything in between.
Writeshop was originally started in 2015 in Toronto by Kyle Baptista. Read more about the concept here: https://medium.com/writeshop-wednesdays/writeshop-wednesdays-345735ecd955
🎒WHAT TO KNOW OR BRING
✔️ Bring whatever you need to get your writing task done, and be ready to share what your goals are for this hour.✔️ Bring a charged laptop! Very few outlets available.
🍿 BYO SNACKS
We keep Clubs as free as possible to make sure anyone can attend. YAY! And… as a result, club hosts are carrying a lot of the financial weight of something like SNACKS. We know that snacks make any gathering so much fun… so we’re trying something new.👋 If you’re a snack fan, and you’d like to contribute, please bring a snack to share with your fellow Club goers. Nothing fancy. Just something that delights you. That’s it. See you there!
⏰ CLUB START TIME
We offer a 10-minute “Window of Arrival” time where you can get settled, share snacks, sign in, and chat with one another.👉 For example…If your Club start time is 1:00pm Expect to get things going around 1:10pm.
👉 We offer this flex window because we know folks are coming from many different places around town. With that said, please try your best to arrive before 10 minutes past the start time as the activities will be getting started then!
