Ylljet Alicka

Ylljet Aliçka is an Albanian writer, scriptwriter and former Albanian Ambassador in France, UNESCO, Portugal and Monaco. He wrote several short stories collections and novels, and also worked on several screenplays based on his books. One of them, Slogans, a French-Albanian movie, among others, awarded at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Prize at the International Film Festival of Tokyo.
His books have been published in French, Polish, Czech, Norwegian, English, Italian, Arab, German, Persian, Macedonian, Esperanto and Chinese languages.
Actually he is professor at Mediterranean University of Albania.
