Ziggy rides with the Lakota community in South Dakota to Wounded Knee for healing and awareness

Ziggy shares her story of being invited by the Lakota communities in South Dakota to join in the spiritual three week long, 300 mile, cross-country, sub-zero temperature, horseback ride, and returning year after year. This ride brings the Lakota community together to commemorate the massacre of their people at Wounded Knee in 1890 – during the ride they offer prayers to their ancestors, each other, and the world.
