Unser Thema für Mai ist “Vibrant” (Veranstaltungssprache ist Englisch).

“Vibrant” can have many meanings, but for an American living in Freiburg, it means sharing her sunny disposition, the wisdom of continual cheerfulness, and a colorful voice for jazz and other music with her adopted hometown.

Working as an assistant manager in the charming Chocolaterie in Freiburg, Kelly has resided in Freiburg for nearly a decade with her husband and two children, and was formerly high school exchange student in Thüringen, where she learned to speak German and fell in love with a complex and proud culture. 

In Michigan, she studied art, language, and Liberal Arts, finally settling on studying voice at Oakland University. She and her husband ran a successful video production startup and produced a feature-length movie (available to stream on Amazon Prime, Roadkill: A Love Story,) and is constantly involved in creative projects. Since Corona, her focus has been on networking with local musicians and exploring her voice through various genres of music.
