In our last post, we talked up Bill’s resume - but for a guy who’s got so much experience building large-scale idea from the ground up, what does he do at his day job?
Enter TUG.
If you want to get formal, Bill is the VP of Client Services at the Understanding Group (TUG), but for any one that knows him, he’s a pattern recognizer, problem solver, creative thinker, risk-taker, and information architect.
His day job at TUG makes our online lives easier. If you’re a company with information bursting at the seams, it’s their job to make sure that your users aren’t going to get frustrated, quit looking, and lob a whole bunch of negative vibes toward your brand. They’ve done great work for Thompson Reuters, DirecTV, and Travelocity, among others, utilizing a mix of expert reviews, analytics, and user research depending on the client.
With all that said, our only question is if they do focus groups like this, and if so, where can we sign up?
