Who doesn’t love a good happy hour with good energy, and fantastic food and drink specials? We’ve done our research — by eating and drinking our way through Miami — and have come up with a list of our favorite happy hour spots.

Here are five Miami favorites:

Area 31, Epic Hotel, 270 Biscayne Blvd Way, Miami 305.424.5234
Happy Hour: Mon-Thurs from 5-8 p.m.; Fri, 5 p.m.-12 a.m.

If you are looking for a sexy vibe with a gorgeous view of the Brickell area, you must check out Area 31 at Epic. Located on the 16th floor, the setting lets you enjoy a light breeze while sipping on your favorite adult beverages. During Happy Hour, which takes place Monday to Thursday from 5-8 p.m. on the outdoor terrace bar, guests can enjoy premium well drinks, house wine, beer and bubbles for $7. To pair with the drinks, Area 31 offers a small $7 bar menu, featuring tempting items like St. Croix Conch Fritters; Meatballs with kefir lime and crispy shallots.

When Friday rolls around, Area 31 gets ready for a Chase-the-Clock promotion, where drinks are priced by the hour ($5 at 5 p.m., $6 at 6 p.m., etc. up until midnight) — and food specials are offered up until 10 p.m.

Dolce Italian, 1690 Collins Ave, Miami Beach; (786) 975-2550
Happy Hour: Daily from 4-8 p.m.

Dolce Italian, named the Best New Restaurant in 2015, offers a stellar Eight for Eight Happy Hour. Located at the Gale South Beach, Dolce Italian offers happy hour daily from 4-8 p.m. During this time, guests can enjoy one of their eight signature cocktails or one of the eight featured appetizers like their Margherita Pizza or the Dolce Meatballs for just $8. In addition, select wines by the glass are $8, and Peroni drafts are just $4.

Morton’s The Steakhouse, locations in Coral Gables, Miami, Miami Beach and North Miami Beach

Happy Hour: Every day from 5 p.m. to closing in the bar (may vary by location, no Sunday happy hour in North Miami Beach).

While a visit to Morton’s can put a huge dent in your last paycheck, a visit does not need to ruin your budget if you plan it right. Instead of indulging in a juicy steak in the main dining room, why not take part in the happy hour in the bar?  While both food and drink specials will have you smiling — $5.50 for beer (Sam Adams, Budweiser or Bud Light), $7.50 for select wine, and $8.50 for select martinis and cocktails. To coat your stomach, you’ll want to nibble on some bar bites. We highly suggest the Mini Crab Cake BLT’s, Tuna Tacos, the Spinach Crab & Artichoke Dip or the 3 Prime Cheeseburgers — all priced at $7.

The Rusty Pelican, 3201 Rickenbacker Causeway, Key Biscayne; (305) 361-3818

Happy Hour: Weekdays from 4 to 7 p.m.

For a happy hour with a view, we recommend The Rusty Pelican, offering some of the best views in the city. This classic Miami restaurant offers a menu of fresh local seafood and Latin-inspired dishes in a chic, modern setting — and some happy hour specials that we can’t resist. From 4 to 7 p.m. in the lounge area, guests can enjoy 50% off select appetizers like a Smoked Salmon Roll or Crispy Tostones with Roasted Tomatillo Salsa, $9 small plates like Corvina Ceviche and Seabass and Salmon Buñuelos and some great drink specials. Think — $3 bottled beer; $5 cocktails and select wines; and $7 signature cocktails.

SUGARCANE Raw Bar Grill, 3250 NE 1st Ave, Miami 786.369.0353

Happy Hour: 4-7 p.m. Monday through Friday (in the bar area only)

For a hip happy hour during the week, visit Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill. SUGARCANE features a creative menu of internationally-inspired small plates, a raw bar and items from the robata grill. If the restaurants wasn’t hot enough by itself, imagine what a happy hour adds to the vibe — and, SUGARCANE’s is fabulous. From 4-7 pm, Monday through Friday, guests will enjoy snacks for bargain prices like Edamame ($3), American Wagyu Sliders ($5), Yellowtail Jalapeño Sushi Rolls ($6) and Chicken Tokyo from the robota grill with scallion & yakitori sauce ($7). The deals on your favorite liquid beverages are just as tempting — select wine, beer and specialty cocktails are just $7, pitchers of sangria are $25 and a mojito pitcher is $35.
