We’re excited to be having Justin Carlisle of Ardent speaking on “Ugly” this Friday January 30th. The event will be hosted at The Commons at 170 S. 1st St, 2nd Floor.  

We asked Justin six questions to better get to know him: 

What do you typically eat for breakfast? I typically don’t eat breakfast. Just a lot of coffee.

What do people know you for? They may know me for my restaurant Ardent and my late night ramen, Red Light Ramen but I’m pretty sure I’m personally not on many radars.

How is Milwaukee special to you? Milwaukee is special to me cause I call it home in every sense.

What drives your creativity? Lots of things drive my creativity. People, surrounds, feeling, seasons.

What are you going to talk to us about this month? I’m going to talk about Ugly.
