For those of you that have been to our recent meetings, you’re probably familiar with the Espresso Shots segment we started where we get to hear about notable projects from one of us in the #CMATX community for 30 seconds (or before Ben finishes his espresso shot).

Following December’s theme of EDUCATION, we’re highlighting Carl Hooker, who introduced Digital Parenting 101 (available to the public) in this month’s espresso shot. Carl regularly champions projects that integrate technology with education, like local iPadpalooza, which encourages kids’ interest in technology not only as a way to connect and play, but also to learn. Another recent project includes #student4aday, which you can read a recap of on his blog.
