Our first Field Trip was a glimpse into the future.

We learned about Google’s self-driving cars and their “Paint the Town” art project. 

You can submit an original work of art based on the theme: “my community, my neighbors.” Five pieces will be featured on Google’s prototype vehicles as they cruise the streets of Austin. 

The five artists selected will also get a ride in a self-driving car - plus a $500 gift card. (Honorable mentions will receive a $300 gift card.) All artists retain all rights to their work. Submission are due by November 1st. You can learn more here.
