Our October #CMugshot is Sarah Fulgham, new to our CMATX community after hanging out with our friends to the southeast. If you love coffee as much as we do, you are likely to spot Sarah at one of her two favorite haunts, Figure 8 and Houndstooth. She’s a taco classicist: eggs, cheese, and protein, please!

What’s one thing you’ve been inspired by lately?

Austin! I recently moved to Austin from Houston. I wouldn’t necessarily say I was in a slump in Houston… I was comfortable. Being surrounded by fresh air and the innovative and creative culture that Austin cultivates inspires me. It makes me want to DO something - I’m still figuring out what that something is, but I’m pretty sure it will involve my camera and capturing life being lived well.

What’s something that never fails to shock you?

My alarm clock. EVERY MORNING. Also, sunsets. After briefly being blinded by the setting orb before me (typically while driving), I am struck with awe by the beautiful colors painting the sky. No camera lens can capture it. You just have to sit back, take a deep breath and savor the moment.
