Shutterstock Expands to Europe with German Office

Yesterday evening CreativeMornings’ worldwide sponsor Shutterstock celebrated the grand opening of its European headquarter in Berlin. The sales and development office is well located in the heart of Germany’s capital, right in the Kulturbrauerei, the best meeting place for cultural exchange.

In his short talk after a ribbon cutting ceremony CEO Jon Oringer mentioned, that the New York-based company does more than two-thirds of its business outside the U.S., with Germany the biggest market in Europe. “The move to Berlin was partly aimed at taking advantage of the ‘tech talent’ in this city”.

After some inspiring conversations at Shutterstock’s opening party we were all infected by their photographic energy. Fortunately, a nostalgic passport photo machine is located directly at the entrance of Shutterstock’s new offices. Here we shot a beautiful b/w family photo quartet that satisfied our desire for an emotional image (Polaroid frame image courtesy of Shutterstock)
