From small town to “big smoke”, Kurt moved to Brisbane to study Film and Television Production. With a healthy interest in computer design and animation he quickly fell in love with editing, digital storytelling, and all things post production. After working for several years as an Offline Editor, it was at The Post Lounge where Kurt was able to stretch his creative wings, working across online editing, VFX compositing, motion graphics and finishing. A jack of all trades, becoming General Manager and now co-owner of The Post Lounge was a natural and welcomed progression. Now wearing all the hats of General Manger, Executive Producer and Creative Director, Kurt’s focus is on building a creative post production powerhouse where sustainability, equality, actualwork/life balance and (of course) fun, intersect. He cherishes friends as family, he is a self confessed workaholic, his vice is jam and cream donuts.
