Growth - our topic in November 2025

We had a beautiful Friday morning at Socin House café – a warm welcome, delicious coffee and gipfeli, great company, and a powerful dose of inspiration from Mein Baum Dein Baum (mBdB) 🌳

We heard from the amazing team Emma Thomas, Amanda Cox Frantzen & Sara Ellenberger Vaner, the landscape architects reshaping how we think about our own front gardens. They have a simple but transformative mission: help individuals plant trees right where they live.

Basel is already a green city, but imagine the impact 9000 additional trees would have?

🌿 enriching our urban ecosystem

We also enjoyed a 30-second pitch from gardener Raphael Brunner, sharing his new invention for effortless irrigation 💧
