We’re stoked to have Shellee Coley perform for CreativeMornings Houston, this coming Friday! Yea–ah!!
About Shellee:
Shellee attended college at Belmont University in Nashville and got her start as a writer there, but it wasn’t until after having kids, that she really began to pursuing her career as an artist. Since 2009, she’s put out 3 studio projects with producer, Jeffery Armstreet of Magnolia Red/ Red Tree Studios. She’s toured both regionally and nationally, playing shows with such prominent artists as James McCartney, Greg Laswell, Teri Hendrix, Susan Gibson, Gretchen Peters, and Karla Bonoff and last year had the privilege of opening a show at The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.
Since 2010 she’s been working with young songwriters, doing camps and private classes on songwriting and artist development and has recently co-founded an organization called Circle Sessions. The goal of the organization is to offer creative events for girls and women where they have the opportunity learn from one another and celebrate the unique intricacies that make up both their individual and collective femininity.
