בזמן קצר בלבד,  מחשבים וטכנולוגיות מידע נארגו אל חיינו והפכו למרכזי תקשורת, למידה ויצירה. מחשבים משנים את האופן בו אנו יוצרים, מתקשרים ואף חושבים. אם ה"אנושי" מאופיין על ידי תכונות כמו יצירתיות ומקוריות – מסקרן לבדוק כיצד תכונות אלו תואמות, מאפשרות או מאתגרות תרבות שחלקים גדולים ממנה מתקיימים בסביבות ממוחשבות. בעידן בו מחשבים הפכו להרחבה של הזכרון והגוף האנושי, האם ניתן לחשוב על המכונה כשותפה לתהליך היצירתי? אלו שאלות וחיבורים מניב שילוב זה?  

In just a short time, computers and information technologies were woven into our lives and became centers of communication, learning and creativity. Computers change the way we create, communicate and even think. If the “human” is characterized by qualities such as creativity and originality, it is intriguing to examine how these characteristics match, enable or challenge a culture in which large parts of the environment exist in computerized environments. In an age when computers have become an extension of memory and the human body, can one think of the machine as a partner to the creative process? These questions and connections yields this combination.
