Maira Benjamin is the Director of Engineering at Pandora managing the team of engineers that deliver the search methodology and the algorithms that determine the next best song in a listener’s playlist at Pandora. She has been dedicated to the technology field for over 3 decades playing instrumental roles in engineering departments for over 10 technology companies. In addition to her professional life, Maira is a published author, lyricist, classically trained pianist, mother of a biochemical engineering doctoral student, and an avid knitter. She is on a mission to learn something new every year.
