His specialty is his “Rhythm and Hue” stage act in which he rapidly creates paintings of notable pop and inspirational icons.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Raised in Sacramento, CA, Garibaldi started creating at a young age through art, music, and dance. A turning point in his life was when he was inspired by a high school art teacher to leave graffiti for a more positive path.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Since 2003 Garibaldi has taken live and performance painting to new heights. Some notable events include: Performing at the White House for President Obama. Finalist on America’s Got Talent. Friday: Did you know there is a FREE musical instrument library in Sacramento? @musiclandria also loans out sound equipment and was an invaluable resource at our last event.

Inspired by Berkeley’s Tool Library, founder Buddy Hale enrolled in CSU Sacramento’s Business Program to learn about Social Entrepreneurship. On his very first day at Sac State, he decided to start a nonprofit. The idea was simple, create Sacramento’s first library completely dedicated to musical instruments. He used every class assignment to build the library one step at a time, and by the time he graduated, MusicLandria had a solid foundation to grow from. -

To launch the project, Hale donated his entire life savings as well as his vast musical instrument collection. With the help of Rachel Freund, MusicLandria opened its doors out of a tiny apartment on 11th and S and began lending out musical instruments for free. -

Since then, MusicLandria has completed thousands of loans, signed up hundreds of members and expanded their catalog to include over 400 musical instruments.
