Asia Horne is a true 616 native—a proud product of EKHS and GVSU, Asia has committed to her passions of creativity and community as creative director and DJ. With over 10+ years of design experience that has reached an international scale, she is now heavily involved in the newly-formed GR-based artists of color collective, Element 7 as creative project coordinator. She is also the founder of Power to the People 616, a Black-women led community initiative created to celebrate, educate and mobilize the Black Grand Rapids community. Rooted in the mantra "do nothing without intention," Asia is a passionate advocate of using your gifts to create change starting with where you are and where you're from.
