I'm a second-career RN. My first undergrad degrees are in Philosophy and Cultural Studies. After some graduate work in Philosophy I realized what I liked about philosophy was the way it expanded my mind and not the professional argument. So I found a career in the non-profit world for several years. Then after beginning to feel stuck, I decided to pursue a degree in nursing. So back to school I went (again). 😄 I'm now working as an ICU nurse.
That's tough...I think I'm more accurately described as someone who knows a little about a lot of things. I've never felt like a master of any one thing.
Brainstorming how to incorporate my interest in eastern medicine with my career as a nurse.
There's not a specific person for me but rather a type of person. I admire anyone who teaches me to expand my mind.
Professional student. That pays the bills, right? 😉
To smile at people.
