A former editor at SELF and OMNI magazines in NYC, I'm now an award-winning health writer with credits including US News & World Report, the WSJ, Prevention, AARP, Glamour, Good Housekeeping, the Washington Post and many others. I also write for hospitals/health systems and provide content in a wide variety of places and spaces. I am a former contributor to Cosmopolitan, Baby Talk, Details, and Bride's. I wrote my very first freelance article--for Charlotte Magazine--when I was in college. I published a book about women's sexual health many moons ago. I have a BA from UNC-Chapel Hill and an MS from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
