I grew up in Weymouth, MA just outside of Boston. After high school, I attended Adelphi University in Garden City, NY, graduating in 1983 with a BFA in theater. Over the next fifteen years I worked as an actor, musician (bass guitar, vocals, arranging), audio engineer, and photographer in NYC, London, and L.A. In 1994 I was recruited by Microsoft to help run their global video teleconferencing network and moved to Seattle. I also took on various technical and managerial roles at Microsoft while raising a family and building my photography business. In October of 2014, I was laid off on the exact day of 20th anniversary there. Since then I've worked exclusively as a headshot and commercial photographer based out of my SoDo studio. Outside of work I love to bicycle, hike, and play bass.
Photography
Can always improve my marketing skills.
Never undervalue or short-change yourself in life and business.
Tenacity
There is none. It’s my photography or nothing.
Breathing, tying my shoes.
