A Santa Fe transplant from Cleveland, Ohio, Kathleen is loving this new chapter of life. Her varied career has included positions in communications at an independent school for girls, in marketing at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, in corporate training for a global insurance company, in police and education beat reporting at a midsized daily newspaper, in mental health services at a residential treatment center for adolescents, and in the psychiatric intensive care unit of an inner-city hospital. She has spent much of her professional life working as a freelance writer, editor, and public relations specialist and she had her own consulting firm for 10 years, with clients ranging from start-up businesses to Fortune 100 companies.
