Repatriated expat born in Minneapolis with two years of solo adventure in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I prepared the youth of tomorrow for the wonders of the world as a Kindergarten teacher at two regional schools. I hosted wacky science experiments with zero materials, sweated profusely in non-air conditioned rooms, danced wildly during bizarre morning routines, and threw myself into a country where I knew not the language nor the culture nor the religion. I was living my best life. I arrived back to the U.S. in March 2020, after the pandemic had shook Southeast Asia but before it had decimated the U.S. economy. Some people say I have impeccable timing (or a good sense of humor)!
