I am a career and life direction coach, but I define “career” rather broadly. I think of ambition as unrealized creative energy, and my work is helping clients figure out how they want to channel it. I have a particular affinity for working with artists or people with a regular creative practice, and those who are trying to balance finding a sense of purpose and meaning with financial security.

Job search best practices (resumes, interview prep, etc.), how to tune into intuition, dealing with procrastination, overcoming the action-intention gap.

"You can doubt your way to excellence." - Rick Rubin

Some favorite artists and creators (all-time favs and more recent discoveries): Adrienne Lanker, adrienne maree brown, Ezra Klein, Jenny O'Dell, Joanna Newsom, Rachel Cusk, Virginia Woolf

I'm simultaneously intuitive AND also highly practical. I'm good at "naming things", or helping people describe and find words for powerful but amorphous feelings, intuitions, etc. And then, able to find some practical application for this new insight.

I've worked in both the non-profit and corporate worlds, and sometimes think I'll eventually go back to a FTE. Not now, though!
