Pati Starzykowski is an artist and transdisciplinary researcher who works and produces at the intersection of art, science, ecology, and politics. Pati graduated with MA in Art and Science, from Central Saint Martins and is currently a PhD candidate at the School of Design and Architecture, University for Creative Arts Canterbury researching weeds as affective ecologies, contextual and queer ecological models of resilience for socio-spatial practices. Pati exhibited across the UK and Europe and run ecological making workshops for communities and students alike, notably for Imperial College and Central Saint Martins; collaborated with scientists from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, the Iskratch Lab, QMUL and the Biophysical Sciences Institute. Pati was the recipient of the Mayor of London CEZ grant for the ‘Meteorite [Park Royal] ‘project and consulted on the ‘Tactile’ project for 2023 British Ceramics Biennial.
