Hi. My name’s Rey Emmanuel Robles. Born in Puerto Rico. Raised on the East Coast. One of a handful of Boricuas currently in Los Angeles, California. Thus far, I’ve lived in 12 cities, spanning 6 states and an island.
I love taking photos, making collages by hand, digging for music, watching documentaries, and devouring carbs. I’m on season 8 of the anime Bleach, the most recent movie I watched was Porco Rosso (shout-out Studio Ghibli), obsessing over the work of Carla Williams, just finished reading Captive Genders: Trans Embodiment and the Prison Industrial Complex, and will be reading As Radical, As Mother, As Salad, As Shelter: What Should Art Institutions Do Now? next.
I’m currently available for freelance work in digital marketing and photography.
