Alice Taylor

Alice Taylor is a writer and journalist who has been based in Tirana for 2.5 years. She studied law in the UK before working in two large tech law firms in Malta. In 2015 she quit her job to become a writer. She had no savings, less than EUR 100 in her bank account, and only an iPad with a broken screen to write on. In 2017 she found herself in Albania and for the first time in her life, she felt like she belonged. As well as writing and journalism, she engages in public speaking, human rights advocacy, and is the mother to one daughter, a stepson, and three cats.
