About the speaker
Charlotte is a Vermont-based artist and photographer living and working in burlington’s south end arts district. Though her medium of the moment is likely to vary when inspiration strikes, she primarily works in acrylic on paper, canvas, and panel. She is consistently & reliably inspired by Vermont’s ever-changing land and lake as well as the northeastern ocean landscape.

Benjamin Collins’ passion for storytelling was sparked at a young age, creating imaginary worlds with friends and finding ways to frame them through a lens. Stamping them as reality became the conduit through which he develops his craft. With video as his medium, he immersed himself in his practice, following leads that were presented in places near and far.
As Ben grew his photography evolved. He has created a niche aesthetic by drawing lines of parallel between life, emotion, and a variety of subjects. Drawn to music, he focuses on the stage finding new ways to freeze drama in time and share with the world the depth of emotion exuded through live performance.

Local Maverick’s entrance is at 110 Main St in Downtown Burlington—in the courtyard across the street from the Hilton Garden Inn & next to The Mens Room salon. Coffee & baked goods by Slow Fire Bakery will be available for purchase!
