Colombia - The Diversity of a Country
May 26, 6:30pm - 7:30pm CEST. Hosted at FieldTrips on Zoom
part of a series on Nature
About the speaker
Estefania ‘Nia’ Escobar-Kölle was born and raised in Colombia, but left seven years ago to pursue a masters in England which eventually would lead her to Cologne. If you know anything about Colombia, most likely is one of the following: drugs, trips, and football. But did you know Colombia is the most biodiverse country in the world? Or most roses in Europe come from the Colombian Andean region? There’s so much more than meets the eye for Colombia so let’s travel together to shatter these nasty stereotypes.
Like last events, we will be coming together via Zoom. Registered attendees will receive a link via email 15 min before the talk. If you’re new to Zoom, you’ll want to sign up for a free account ahead of time.
