About the speaker
Hi! My name is André Eckert, and I’m a visionary Creative Director specializing in design, animation, and immersive multimedia experiences. My mission is not only to create immersive visual worlds, but also to support meaningful institutions and projects while establishing a foundational understanding for designers on how we can responsibly and positively shape our futures.
With 15 years of experience in the creative and agency world, I’ve had the opportunity to bring a wide range of exciting projects to life. From dynamic campaigns, innovative, interactive formats and impactful content creation. For clients like Audi, Telekom, Mercedes, Caterpillar, the Allianz Summit.
As a lecturer, workshop leader, and speaker, I craft inspiring future narratives and invite participants to immerse themselves in captivating, interactive worlds. I demonstrate how creatives can not only shape, but also take responsibility for the future.
In my spare time, I spent many years organizing Unicorns in Tech in Munich, co-founded the Queer Film Festival Munich, and contributed to initiatives like the Alternative Comic Award (GINCO), various environmental campaigns, Munich E-sports, and efforts to increase the visibility of queer people in the media. At the same time with Speculative Futures, I love not only to philosophize about exciting future scenarios but also to actively shape them.
My goal is to continuously advance the role of creative professionals, fostering spaces for collaboration and innovation, always with a focus on driving positive change, optimizing processes, and redefining the creative landscape.
