Krystie Yen

Krystie Yen (she/her) is a curious multi-hyphenate on a mission to make the world a more vibrant place by cultivating self-confidence in the next generation of dreamers and doers. She is the Founder & Executive Director of Slant’d, a nonprofit publishing house, a seasoned brand and community strategist, a creativity coach, and a storytelling instructor with The Moth. Krystie holds a dual degree in Business and Public Health from UC Berkeley. She can usually be found writing whimsical stories with K-12 students, tending to her vegetable garden, or basking in the sun with her super mutt, Hunter.
