About the speaker
Dr. James Cheshire is a geographer with a passion for mapping data. His award-winning maps draw from his research as a Senior Lecturer at University College London, where his academic publications explore the value of Big Data to the social sciences.
He is co-author of the books ** London: The Information Capital and Where the Animals Go** and his work has appeared in the likes of the Guardian and the Financial Times as well as on his popular blog spatial.ly.
