Lauren Woolf shares the story of The Lockdown Collection

About the speaker

In 2020, Lauren Woolf co-founded “The Lockdown Collection”, an art initiative to capture South Africa’s historic Covid-19 Lockdown and support vulnerable artists who were severely impacted by the pandemic. It took 48 hours from concept to creation and drew heavily on creative energy and design to create significant traction and impact. The project raised significant funds for artists, has been documented in international creative journals and recently won multiple awards for its contribution to the Arts.
