About the speaker
Lishan is the co-founder and Managing Director of AGENCY, a human-centred design practice in Singapore. A (fashion!) journalist by training and a writer at heart forever, she was a Design Research lead at IDEO before starting AGENCY in 2016, with the goal of using design as a key tool in business and organisational decision making for transformation, growth and impact.
That's the spiel, but ask her for the story. It took her awhile to get here, after a bit of writing, and a bit of time on the Esplanade programming team. These days, whenever she can, she dabbles in floral arrangements (under the hashtag #fleurenceandthemachine) and freelances with the botanical studio This Humid House.
