About the speaker

Mariana maps the accessibility of spaces, services, people and information. Making public institutions, film festivals, private galleries, kids' library section or readers' smartphone apps accessible.

She graduated from Disability Studies at Syracuse University, continuing with PhD studies at Masaryk University and JAMU. She currently works for One World - an International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival and for CAMP Prague.

She has one husband, two daughters and a lot of questions. Her belief: Universal design.
