About the speaker

Mario Rodriguez, the Executive Director of the Indianapolis Airport Authority, is a renowned leader, author, and speaker in the aviation industry. His journey has taken him from Hong Kong to New Orleans and Long Beach to Palm Beach before coming to Indianapolis in 2014 to lead the Indianapolis International Airport (IND). A Hoosier by choice, he loves his community and currently serves on numerous boards and committees including the Indy Chamber, Indiana Chamber of Commerce, Immigrant Welcome Center, Business Equity for Indy, Visit Indy, Indiana Sports Corp, Indiana Latino Institute, Indiana Destination Development Corporation Foundation, and the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation. Under Mario’s leadership, IND has become a trailblazer in supporting Indianapolis’ creative economy, championing a robust arts and culture program throughout the terminal. IND also partners with diverse local community groups, such as the Madam Walker Legacy Center, GANGGANG and the Esperanza Art Gallery, on pop-up displays throughout the year.
