Rob Lee

Robert Lee Watkins Jr is naturally curious and a storyteller. Through his podcast series 'The Truth In This Art' (since 2019), he's conducted more than 400 interviews with a diverse guest list of artists, entrepreneurs and tastemakers in Baltimore and beyond. This podcast was created as a response to negative and generally false narratives about Baltimore, Rob's hometown. In 2022, The Truth In This Art was recognized as the best podcast in Baltimore by Baltimore Magazine's editors. Additionally, Rob serves on the boards of the Baltimore Improv Group, space for live comedy shows; classes and workshops for adults, kids and teens; a podcast studio, and Creative Nomads, community focused on the professional and craft development of arts entrepreneurs and on providing access to arts, music, and cultural programming to all youth and families.
