Ruairi Glynn

Ruairi Glynn practices as an installation artist and directs the Interactive Architecture Lab at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. His studio of anti-disciplinary researchers are interested in the behaviour & interaction of things, environments & their inhabitants. Through kinetic and interactive installations his recent work has explored the primacy of movement before colour, form and texture in human visual perception. His work particularly draws on fields of architecture, psychophysics, cybernetics, robotics and performance. He has exhibited his work internationally, most recently at the Centre Pompidou Paris, the National Art Museum Beijing, Seoul’s Olympic Museum of Art, Sao Paulo’s Itau Cultural, Beall Center Los Angeles, the Kunsthaus Graz and Tate Modern, London.
