About the speaker
Tanya Rey works between product design, visual direction and future oriented concepts. Her practice sits at the intersection of physical objects, culture and technology, with a particular focus on speculative design, museum projects and advanced image systems. Her approach combines intuition, cultural depth and technical precision. Through her work she explores how imagination drives innovation and how artificial intelligence can support the development of ideas without removing their meaning.
Her projects move across physical products, AI generated visuals and exhibition concepts. She has presented work in cultural spaces and spoken internationally about creativity, artificial intelligence and the future of design. She collaborates with brands, museums and innovation teams to shape forms, materials and coherent visual worlds. She also teaches at institutions such as ZHdK, AA School and ESDM, where she shares her perspective on how design and technology reshape the way ideas are conceived and built.
In her talk she will reflect on the role of artificial intelligence within creative processes. Drawing from her own practice, she will show us how these tools expand the capacity to imagine, visualize and develop new ideas while preserving the intention and sensitivity that define design.
