Africa is a vast continent, each region unique and diverse - what works in one country does not necessarily work in another. Terry gives us some insight on how brands need to get into Africa, deploy a lean operation and use failure to customise their service and offering to lessons learnt.

About the speaker

Terry is a creative thinker, social entrepreneur, author and brand builder across the African Continent.

He spends most of his time commuting across the continent where he has worked extensively with many of Africa’s best-loved brands. Terry is the CEO of VWV across Africa & The Middle East. He is also a fellow of The Africa Leadership Initiative, and is a director of the Southern Guild Design Foundation.

Terry is a published author, speaker and often appears in various online and print media. His book “connect with the continent” helps brands to understand key consumer trends and social movements across the African continent.
