We’re Back!

Hello! I’m Kira Wisniewski, your new host. I’m energized to get things rolling here again!

A bit about me

I’m a seasoned event and meeting planner with a can-do attitude and passion for community and the arts. Professionally, I’ve been responsible for an annual 2600+ attendee, multi-day academic conference. I’ve also executed fundraising events such as Paddlestar Galactica: a ping-pong tournament for cheaters for a non-profit organization I co-founded. Additional event-based passion projects include co-curating Call + Response, an art show that pairs writers with visual artists and Kiraoke, a unique karaoke event that celebrates friendship. All this and more can be explored deeper on my website: www.kiraface.com

A bit about the team

Every CreativeMornings event is free and run by a team of volunteers.

Mario Brandhorst is the new CreativeMornings/Baltimore co-organizer. He’s a native Baltimorean and has been a part of the city’s creative community for much of his life. (You may recognize him as Chicken Finger Man.)

Laura Ferrara, laurasferrara.com, is continuing on as photographer. She has been with the chapter since 2015.

Cassandra Miller is also staying onboard and you’ll see her helping check you in at the events. She has been with chapter for the past four years.

Winston Zhou, wzhouphoto.com, will also continue as our videographer. He has been with the chapter since mid-2017.
