What do you ā¤ļø about CM/Bal?
On Sunday, we held a retreat with our volunteers and asked them to share their favorite moments from this past year. A lot of them brought up specific talks likeĀ Damian MosleyĀ (Preserve),Ā Andria Nacina ColeĀ (End), andĀ Lisa Snowden-McCrayĀ (Justice). Others highlighted the tasty goods from amazing partners likeĀ Wight Tea CoĀ andĀ Mera Kitchen Collective. But a huge underlying thread was the community which includes YOU!
We know your inbox is full of emails thisĀ #GivingTuesdayĀ and that there are many amazing and worthy causes in our fair city and beyond to support, but we would love forĀ Ā you consider giving any amount to CM/BalĀ to help us continue holding these monthly, āØFREEāØ events.
Some specific things your donation can help do in 2020:
- Have an ASL interpreter at our monthly events (increase accessibility!)
- Purchase AV equipment like a Zoom recorder and a new mixing board to ensure quality sound in both the live event and the videos of all our talks (available on our website!)
- Things like this glittery backdrop and stand (fun photobooth opps!)
