Meet Lisa Pilley, this month’s CreativeMornings/Derby speaker and another creative Derbyshire gem! Lisa is a commercial colour consultant, designer, curator & educator.
After graduating with BA(Hons) in Surface Print Design, Lisa began her design journey as a home furnishings designer, followed by a number of years as studio lead and colourist in the fabric and wallcovering industry, working with independent designers & fabric design houses.
Her journey changed direction as Lisa moved to Dulux trade as a senior colour designer, ambassador & colour expert.
Currently alongside this Lisa is growing her own project
‘The Colour Cupboard’ @thecolourcupboard that supports, educates & curates colour specification for business, with a particular passion to blend the dimension of colour through the work of creatives, helping others to use colour as a business strength.
You can see Lisa connecting colour and corruption (the global theme) on Friday 17th March from 10.30am at The Museum of Making.
